So it’s been 8 months – almost to the day – that I started blogging The Skeptic Yogi. When I started out, it was simply a means of testing theories that yoga and meditation can bring about transformation as well as better health and deeper forms of relaxation.
Alas, here I am the night before I leave for India. I have left behind a job, a work visa, a comfortable salary, sold most of my furniture, and am now saying final good-byes to work friends, other friends and beau as I take off for my next adventure.
From where I stand, I look back at the 2+ years I’ve been in California, the growth I’ve experienced, and the many ways I’ve stretched myself. I’m so happy for all that’s happened to me and all the wonderful people that have come into my life.
Now I look forward and embrace what’s to come. I expect to learn more about myself on this trip than I have any other trip. I suspect it will be lonely and scary at times, but I fully intend to come back rejuvenated, well learned in my latest passions, and ready to take a bigger bite out of life.
My journey awaits! I’ll be blogging here as often as I can about what I learn from yoga and my spiritual discoveries about myself and life, but not sure at this point about frequency. If you’re interested in my travel blog, catch up with my journey through my Adventures in Yoga Teacher Training in India Series. If you’re at all passionate about spelling, you’ll be wincing often as I’m not bringing my editor (aka, beau) with me (sadly), so you’ll have to tolerate my dyslexic wordsmithing!
All the best, and do stay with me!
