So, when I tell people that I’m leaving my six-figure corporate income behind to travel India, study yoga and spend a month living at an ashram, I’m met with a typical blank stare followed by a few deer-in-headlight blinks before the “you’re doing what?” auto-response. It doesn’t happen every time, but at least 50% of people I tell respond accordingly. It’s a pretty natural response…I’d probably say the same thing myself, and then secretly envy anyone who dared to try it.
Like Steve Jobs did. Did you know he had the same experience before starting Apple? Makes sense….what better place to germinate the creative seed of innovation?
