This year has been hard, ya'll! If you're in need of a little peace and grounding as we roll into fall, then please consider committing to this free, 7-Day Yoga Challenge with me!
These are all classes I've curated from Youtube. I've been following some of these teachers for years now and I'm delighted to share them with you.
Yoga // Depression + Anxiety
While I'm not a Psychologist, there is lots of research that points too yoga as a beneficial practice for managing depression and anxiety. Personally, I find back bends (otherwise known as heart openers) to be particularly healing on those dark days when everything feels a little off.
It's certainly not a replacement for professional help, but when it comes to participating in your own healing and recovery, it's hard to argue the benefits.
You don't have to be depressed or sad to benefit from yoga
I feel like I may have taken this to a heavy/serious place and that wasn't actually my intention. I've just been feeling particularly stressed lately, and coming back to the yoga mat (after a year off due to a shoulder injury) has been so uplifting for me.
I want that for you too! So on that note, I'm excited to share (below) my top yoga picks that you can challenge yourself to do for 7 days (or whenever you need it). I hope you love it!

7 Days of Yoga - Zero Rules
The classes are intended to follow in sequence, but feel free to adjust based on your schedule and preferences. This is your challenge.
The key here is that there are no rules. No expectations and no worries if you don't make it through it all. Just do your best, be gentle with yourself and have fun with it!
I'll be doing the classes this entire week (starting Sept 14) and leading the challenge on Instagram, so please feel free to join me there.
What do you need to complete this yoga challenge?
Just a yoga mat. If you're in the market for a new mat, I tried the Hugger Mugger brand recently and I REALLY loved it.
