    Beachbody’s Sure Thing, is the latest, strength and endurance program released by the online fitness brand. Launching December 2022, this program is designed for building lean, toned muscle as well as efficiently burning fat, and guys, I’m here for it.

    Now, ya’ll know that I’m a barre, Pilates and yoga fan, but once and a while, I get the urge to lift heavy. BUT, it has to be the right trainer. I don’t like the Bro-fit dudes, I’m not here for the “look at my gigantic fake butt fit chick’s either. I like a no-nonsense trainer, and Megan Davis, who also created the Muscle Burns Fat Program is just that. She’s the REAL DEAL

    What is Sure Thing All About?

    The thing that makes this program different is that it’s varied for maximum efficiency. That’s a fancy way of saying - it delivers a diverse offering of movement so you don’t get bored and your body stays challenged (without over training or injury).

    What’s Included in Sure Thing?

    • This is an 8-week program that’s structured for a 5-day per week training schedule.
    • Each workout is 30-45 mins in length (a little longer than I prefer)
    • It includes one sample workout (scroll down to view it)

    What style of training is Sure Thing?

    Beachbody’s Sure Thing is made up of cycled strength training - meaning one week the focus is on lighter weights and higher reps and the next week is slower, controlled lifting. There’s also Functional Recovery Weeks woven in to improve mobility, help with sore muscles (yes, please!) and just generally helping you to recover and get stronger.

    What about cardio?

    That’s in there as well! It’s varied within each week, ranging from more endurance style cardio (think longer, but less intense) and explosive cardio days where you’re going all out for a short period of time.

    When you mix this recipe together, you get what Megan calls, Type Training - a science-based approach to getting ripped as efficiently as possible.

    What equipment do you need for Sure Thing?

    Light, medium and heavy dumbbells (I like to use a set of 5s, 12s, and 25s)

    Strength slides - I use these instead as they are cheaper and better.

    What about Nutrition Support?

    When you sign up for Beachbody’s Sure Thing, you also get the option to try the protein and pre-workout bundle, which I HIGHLY recommend as it’s priced for first time buyers. You not only get the protein-superfoods, and plant-based pre-workout, but you also get the support and structure of either 2B Mindset or Portion Fix. These are Beachbody’s signature nutrition programs, and you get access to BOTH to try. I recommend 2B Mindset, personally, because it’s MUCH easier to follow, but that’s just me.

    Of course you do! As always, remember - these results are never just from doing the workout. You HAVE to make sure you’re dialing in your food, or you will not see this level of success. And when I say that, it doesn’t mean you have to starve or count calories. The 2B Mindset program is really simple to follow and I got great results from it.
