Beachbody is releasing XB Sweat + Sculpt this fall. Read on to find out if it's the perfect workout for you (or not).
Ya’ll, I’ve been obsessed with Super Trainer Andrea Rogers’ workouts that are now available on Beachbody on Demand. They’re quick, straight to the point, and NEVER boring (much needed for my hyperactive brain).

I’ve done all the Xtend barre workouts and I’m now going to make my way through the pilates workouts in preparation for Andrea’s next program, XB Sweat + Sculpt.
Everything about this 3-week program appeals to me. Releasing October 2022, XB Sweat + Sculpt is a total of 15 dance-cardio and sculpting workouts, recorded in real time. The workouts are 30 minutes long (the perfect length for short attention spans) and the schedule will be formatted for 5 workouts per week, but you can always adjust that to more or less, based on your preference.
What equipment is required for XB Sweat + Sculpt
For the cardio workouts, you just need your own two feet. However, if you want to amp up the sculpting workouts (which I will), you can use ankle weights and a workout band for extra resistance. I've been experimenting with Bala Bands lately and I'm really loving them!
What Are The XB Sweat + Sculpt Workouts Like?
All of the workouts are a mix low impact sculpting intervals along with some fun cardio dance moves. The sculpting workouts focus on upper, lower and full body workouts and all of the workouts end with a 5-10 minute core focus to ensure you’re hitting every muscle area.
How is XB Sweat + Sculpt Different From Barre + Pilates Workouts?
Andrea Rogers designed Xtend Barre and Pilates programs to target lean muscle development through precise moves. Some of the moves are so small, and yet they are killer! I find barre and Pilates to be great workouts for shaping muscle tone, more so than heart pumping cardio (although there is some of that as well).
XB Sweat + Sculpt puts more emphasis on cardio, while still incorporating the strength moves (because that’s how you sculpt and tone lean muscle).
That said, even though I know how important strength training is, I still find a good sweaty and fun cardio session to be the best thing for lifting my mood, increasing my memory and focus, and keeping my ADHD brain in check.
Is XB Sweat + Sculpt for You?
I think if you like mat-based workouts, working out in bare feet or doing any kind of movement that's playful or helps you forget you're exercising, then this might be for you.
This is definitely NOT the workout for you if you're into lifting heavy weights or doing a lot of jumping or high impact moves. If that's your jam, check out Lift More for the heavy lifting and Turbo Kick for jumping around. Both programs are also on the Beachbody app.
Is There a Nutrition Component to XB Sweat + Sculpt?
Like all of Beachbody’s program releases, XB Sweat + Sculpt also includes two exclusive 2B Mindset and Portion Fix meal plans created especially for the program. I personally have found more success with 2B Mindset as it's easier to follow and a lot more flexible in terms of food choices.
Who Is Andrea Rogers?
Andrea Rogers has been on the workout scene for a long time now. I remember picking up her Barre workout back in 2012! I was obsessed with it from the first time I tried it. I loved how accessible barre workouts are, and the movements are so fun.
She used to own a barre studio teaching her own special brand of barre, but has since moved into digital fitness, starting with her DVDs, then OpenFit, and now Beachbody. She’s a little firecracker, a super positive personality and crazy fit (all from barre and pilates!).
