    Beachbody Unstress: A 21-Day Meditation Program to Control Stress

    Want a quick and simple way to reduce stress and anxiety?  Beachbody on Demand has just launched Beachbody Unstress: A 21 Day Meditation program in partnership with Suze Yalof Schwartz, founder of Unplug. Personally, I couldn’t be more thrilled.

    This year has been insane by anyone’s standards.  Stress and anxiety is at an all time high and we all need ways to decompress, and manage our emotions.  Beachbody’s new 21-day meditation program, appropriately named “Unstress” is going to help us do that.

    10-Minute Daily Meditations For 21 Days.

    Ideal for beginners or seasoned practitioners, each session is led by a different, experienced meditation teacher, focused on a unique theme like cultivating gratitude or a positive mindset (<-yes, please!).  

    The goal of the program is help you feel instantly less anxious and enjoy a clearer mind, so you can handle anything that comes your way.

    Why Start a Meditation Practice?

    The research on meditation has been growing over the last 30 years. Scientists agree that meditators tend to exhibit:

    • Reduced blood pressure 
    • Controlled eating habits  
    • Improved heart health 
    • Decreased stress, anxiety & panic attacks
    • Better quality sleep
    • Increases awareness and a clearer mind
    • Improved memory + mood
    • More happiness

    I don’t know about you, but I could use a grande-sized order on all of the above.  I do have a meditation practice, but it’s not very consistent.  This program is exactly the structure I need to create a habit.

    In fact, there’s even an Unstress Meditation Calendar to follow.  Tools like this may seem overly simple, but the daily act of crossing off another meditation on a physical piece of paper creates a visual chain of progress that you won’t want to break.  It’s actually a powerful way to build a healthy habit that will help you enjoy a lifetime of improved peace and happiness.

    Who is Suze Yalof Schwartz? 

    Suze Yalof Schwartz, CEO of Unplug

    Suze the creator of the Unplug Meditation App, and and the world’s first drop-in meditation center.  She’s also the author of Unplug: A Simple Guide to Meditation for Busy Skeptics and Modern Soul Seekers.

    In case you’re worried that this program might be too woo-woo for you, it’s also worth mentioning that she’s a busy working mom who held top positions at Vogue, Elle, Marie Claire, and Glamour magazines.  She was also the regular fashion correspondent on Good Morning America, The Today Show, and CBS This Morning, so she’s a face you might recognize. 

    Suze knows first hand how fast life can move, and it was her personal experience that informed this powerful program.  So please - don’t assume this is going to be a swami-lead monk-fest (although that would be really cool, too). 

    This is real meditation for real people.  

    How to use Beachbody Unstress

    Both Suze and I, recommend that you use this program in conjunction with your current Beachbody workout program.   It’s best done first thing in the morning, right after you finish your workout,.

    If you’re not currently doing a Beachbody program, or you're not working out in the morning, still try to get this meditation first thing so it sets you up for more calmness throughout your day.  

    How much does the program cost?

    Nothing.  As long as you are a Beachbody on Demand subscriber, you have access to this program.  If you don’t have Beachbody on Demand, you can sign up for it right here, right now.

    I will be hosting a 21-Day meditation challenge starting on Monday, September 28th.  If you are an existing Beachbody customer of mine, you’re invited to sign up for the private accountability group right here.  If you’re not already a customer - sign up,  pick a workout program to focus on (or not) and let’s do this.

    I should say, you don’t have to do a workout program.  You’re also welcome to choose one of our nutrition-only programs.  I recommend 2B Mindset, which is a simple, no-stress eating program designed by a registered dietitian.  I love this program and I’ve seen so many successful weight loss transformations come from it.
